Member Awareness/Fundraising Campaign for Youth Financial Literacy

In conjunction with Financial Literacy Month and National Credit Union Youth Week, April 20-26, 2008, the New York Credit Union Foundation is requesting your support to promote youth financial literacy across the state and raise funds from credit union members and employees.

A relatively new initiative, this fundraising campaign operates in a similar manner to the League’s Care for Kids campaign. The Foundation is asking for individuals to donate what they wish, with a minimum contribution of $3, and in return the donor will receive a pencil and eraser top.

This is a great opportunity for your credit union to showcase its educational programs.
